Education gives us awareness of our surroundings. And at least the basic or secondary level education must be mandatory for every person. Maximum Percentage of the world population rely on education. The world cannot go ahead unless or until we will have the educated people who not only contribute in the research and science field but also in other fields like commerce, economics etc.

Without the successful education, we will not have doctors and engineers who fills the requirements of our basic life. Without them, it will be not possible for us to live peacefully. Their are very less percentage of people who are not educated but successful except the people in entertainment industry. So I contribute education is necessary to all.

And successful and by that, I don't mean that to get good marks by mugging up things, yet I mean to say by acquiring the right knowledge to help the world and our nation to make better use of it.

First of all, I agree with you. Education does, in fact, make us more in contact with the world. That is, of course, if we"re built for the school we"re in. Many of us, unfortunately, are not, thus making our education utterly useless. As Albert Einstein once said, "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid." This principle is very easily applied in nature, where every animal and every plant has a specific role to play. It is also easily applied on the job market, where hundreds and hundreds of different jobs exist. But not in schools, where standardization and millimeter democracy is seen as the right way. For in our society, everyone must go to the same school, study the same subjects, and be judged equally. Not a problem when you have a small group of people coming from the exact same place, but a problem when you have different people, like in a school.

Obviously, it is problematic to have just one fish in a school of trees. Today we have thousands. The standardized, impersonal education you"re promoting should have been replaced by many different types of schools, letting everyone find their genius. This would be most beneficial for society and for the individual human itself. The doctors and engineers you find essential to life? Imagine if we had them in ten fold of today, more motivated and more credential. The only way to let that happen is to expand our idea of education. Once we do that, it will not only be doctors and engineers that are more motivated and more credential. The same will happen in every job field, and new will appear as well as new companys and inventions.

On that note, our education system today is based entirely on a classroom. Learning and playing have been separated completely. A huge mistake for some and a big blessing for others. Some learn best by reading a book at a desk. Others learn best by playing history with their dolls and yet others understand Picasso, Voltaire and Bohr at the top of a tree. Every one learns in a different way, but schools today only benefit the "sitting at a desk" learners, leaving behind a big group, who will never learn their full potential. This is, of course, dissatisfying for every individual in that group but also for society, who trades many peoples 100% drive to their 50% drive, perhaps even sending them to in a job thats just not right for each individual professionally and personally.

To sum up, in order for everyone to acquire their full potential, personalized, specialized and motivating education taking place at the right locations is important, but not standardized education, that regularly does more damage than good.

Higher education often leads to more examination, something that makes students stressed, prone to memorize, lose sleep and as a result, no true knowledge is gained, no matter what grade the student gets. By adding personalization to education and by allowing the thought that no two people learn the same way or end up doing the same thing, we can prevent a generation of depressed and stressed people and instead create a world of intelligent, creative individuals.

Not necessarily to be educated in order to be successful in life. However, not so many educated people become successful in their lives. As we know, people like Bills Gates, Steve Jobs, and others aren't that many. In my opinion, if you're successful with high school diploma, great that you have found your ways to make a decent living in this era.

Therefore, the rest of the population chances is getting an education in order to live comfortably.

We need knowledge more then education to be successful in our life.
The words knowledge and education seem to be one word. But there is a line of difference which separates one from the other. Education may not always lead to knowledge. Another point of demarcation between knowledge and education is that knowledge is a self learning process while education is an acquired process where teachers, professors will impart or give the students the necessary knowledge. The whole life can be a process of gaining knowledge whereas education is time bound. Within a stipulated set period of time the process of education must be completed. Education has nothing to do with life and its experiences whatsoever. The periphery of education is very limited but knowledge has no boundaries.

Most people who are extremely wealthy did not get that way from a diploma. It took a dream and doing whatever it takes to accomplish what that dream entailed. And keeping your word is extremely important. Serving others and hard work will make anyone wealthy .

Way too much emphasis has been put on education. There are a lot of people in college that would best serve others in a trade. In fact, today under government intrusion, they are the ones getting the jobs. The wizards of smart graduates spend most of their time crying about the huge debt their little escapade into " higher " learning brought them. Then the whining little babies are crying for government to step in and force the taxpayer to pay for THEIR education.
