Con

Well I strongly oppose the notion that physical playing affects children's mind because
children are playing for their peace of mind and relaxation. It may affect the children physically but not mentally well I believe that playing gives freedom to children.
In a way playing also develops the children's mind and also gives a sensation of willingness.

Pro

Yes it does. It's obvious.

Children learn from their parents. If their parents let them outside to play, they play outside more! This reduces obesity and keeps kids fit! [1] Also, it's a proven fact that if a child plays a sport they will have a healthy life when they grow up. Kids should get exercise everyday to improve their muscles and also get fit. This is why elementary schools have recess. It helps clear the child's mind. [2]

Reasons for voting decision: I think that robort might have made a mistake in the title. I think (s)he might have meant "Does physical play affect children's minds NEGATIVELY." Both sides agree, but I'll have to give it to Pro then.
