The game is a rip off from mario

The pipes are a rip off

THE game makes no sense

The game makes no sense at all it is just simple tap and when you click and you dont go hitting the pipe you die

It is not even a bird

How is it a bird when it cant fly you need to tap to fly and also it doesnt even look like a bird more like a fish

Con

Flappy Bird is a game which literally grasped the attention of a huge majority of people. There is a reason behind this.
The fact that this game offers a challenge is what makes it a game satisfactory for entertainment and friendly challenges between friends, whether on the bus to school or waiting at the airport for your delayed flight. The game takes on the traditional, simple, yet fun and challenging style of arcade gameplay which has become rare in today's society of high quality graphics on high definition televisions and desktops. Arcade games with more attention to the challenge of gameplay rather than the detail in graphics are indeed a sight for sore eyes.
Your argument is ambiguous.
Are you criticising the fact that it is "unsuccessful" (Regardless of the fact that there were a reported 50 million downloads- thus raking in over $50,000 a day for the developer of the game, Nguyen)? Or are you criticising the game for the fact that it's a "rip off" due to the pipes? You then raise the argument that it is not even a bird. As aforementioned the graphics are that of an arcade game, the specific genre which this game was set at; you cannot expect them to be 3D high quality graphics for a simple arcade game which is set to make a challenge and entertain people as they try to beat their high score.
To continue, you state "How is it a bird when it CAN'T FLY" followed by "You need to TAP TO FLY" - This is what is called the objective and challenge of the game, in order to keep the bird elevated you must tap the screen. Each tap counts as one flap by the birds wings, which is how a bird actually flies in real life.
Flappy Bird has proven that even the most simplistically designed games can become successful and world-renown with a notoriety for being entertainingly addictive.

PRO has forfeited the final round with no response to the arguments which is withheld. Therefore you should vote CON.
CON has successfully provided an argument backed by facts in order to negate that Flappy Birds does not in fact “suck”. Therefore you should vote CON.

I may have debates about video games, but I don't have debates where my only factual evidence is tapping a screen.

The textures in the games may have resemblance to existing Mario textures, but they are not rips. They are not the same exact thing.

Whether the game is "fun" or not is subjective, so that's not a fact.

If you're going to have a debate, why not use facts? Is there something wrong with facts or is opinion the new way to debate? Because if that's the case, may the best emotional breakdown win.

It is not your right to tell someone who should they debate with or what topic they should make, You have to many debates on video games and I don't even say anything

Also, why debate about this? This is so opinionated.

@legodude123, I've never entered a spelling bee before thanks to a concept called laziness.

Yes, getting a high score in Flappy Bird doesn't mean anything in life. But it is a fun game to play if you have time to play it, and have nothing else to do of course. Also, I am not as you said, "simple minded." I will have you know that my I.Q is 140, also I don't feel any sense of achievement when I beat my score. Why is that, because it is a game that does not matter. The game is just for fun, like comic books are fun for the simple minded people who wish they lived in a D.C comic book. Just to be clear, a game is structured playing, usually undertaken for enjoyment and sometimes used as an educational tool.

Well I think some of the success comes from people feeling that it's an achievement unlocked. Some self sense of achievement. That has no meaning or purpose. Of course that begets the idea that life itself has no profound purpose. So in a world of no purpose or meaning for existence. From an atheist/agnostic point of view. They are just creating their own sense of meaning for that existence. Some prefer being able to achieve building rockets and others are far more simple minded and require less to feel that sense of achievement. Flappy birds in other words is 2014s nokia snake game. So if you are asking why do they feel that need of achievement? Well simple, culture. If we grew up say in a kryptonian culture. In the DC universe. There kyrptonian are grown specific for needs of the species. As the man of steel would show Zod claiming that he has no other knowledge of any other purpose than the military. So perhaps if were such, then there would be no snake or flappy bird. We would as species move forward extremely fast. Of course remove the human in humanity. As humans define themselves with having the ability to be more than just binary life forms.

So what is grammar the big thing on this site? You have misspelled words before and you have made typos. Ugh when will this site learn.

I can already sense that Pro is somehow going to lose.
