forests is the main requirement of humans. without it human survival is impossible and thus should be used by humans
icedragon66

Con

As the global citizens of Earth, we need to preserve the land for other wildlife other than domesticated animals. 83% of land is directly affected by the our the human footprint. One needs to stop carbon emissions and if we take over the forests and wild areas, Earth will be in a dire situation.

The opposition stated that human survival is impossible without the forests. This is incorrect as we can harvest materials needed from sustainable areas without any need for the wildlife and putting animals at risk of extinction. It is extremely clear that we do not need the forests for our survival.

Reasons for voting decision: I am not sure why Pro thought he needed five rounds for this debate, as his one sentence there was fully refuted by Con in one short round.
