Gay marriage has swept the nation with the major debate. Now it's our turn to stand up for it, I'm for it completely! love is love no matter if you're female or male its love and love shouldn't be pushed away. Most marriages in America today are gay marriages in the states that allow it, which are Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee , Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Wyoming. It started from the year 1979 and ends at the year 2012; the first state out of the 50 to legalize gay marriage was Wisconsin in the year 1979. The latest state to legalize it was North Carolina in 2012. The other 33 states have banned same sex marriages because it's "unholy" and against "God's holy word" where no where in the bible it says gays can't be married

Hello. I am very glad to be debating you on this controversial issue. I am against gay marriage for several reasons - reasons that are secular.

I do want to point out a large falsity in your opening statement.

"Most marriages in America today are gay marriages in the states that allow it, which are Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee , Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Wyoming."

Gay marriage is legal in all other states besides these. And homosexual marriage was not legal in any US jurisdiction until 2003, when Massachusetts legalized it.

This article lists states where gay marriage is legal, and when it was legalized - none of your states listed are included.

I am completely for same sex marriage. Let people be who they true;y are. They should not have to feel ashamed for what they are and who they love. Gays are the same as anyone else. In the end we are all human. We all have a heart we all have a brain we all have eyes feet ears etc. There is nothing different. People Should not be judged off of there sexual preference. Put yourself in their shoes. How would you feel if it was you that was a gay and was looked at different all because you like the same gender? i am Bisexual , i have lost many friends to this but i am still strong. We are all equal.
