Pro

Gay marriage should be approve everywhere, the gender shouldn't matter everyone should be allowed to get married.
pattycakes58

Con

Gay marriage is wrong because it is not marriage. The definition of marriage is the formal recognized union of a man and a woman as in a relationship.

The United States supreme court approve gay marriage on June 25, 2015.Although gay marriage was already allowed in 37 states, 13 states still banned gay marriage. Same sex couples should have the same rights/access to all the benefit as different sex couples. Marriage is a internationally recognize human right for ALL people since 1888 American Foundation for Equal Rights states (Article 16 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights guarantees) That men and women of full age or proper age without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion have the right to marry and to found a family.

Con

Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples or marriages should not be able to marry because they wouldn't produce children and the world needs more children in the world. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. That is why there is one religion in every country.

That is were adoption comes in, their are several gay couples that weren't able to produce children but they still have children. Due to females that put their unwanted children in foster homes and than couples that can't have baby's or gay couples can take the children in Forster homes as their own. On June 2014 a peer-reviewed University of Melbourne study showed that children raised by same-sex parents score 6% higher than the general population on measures of general health and family cohesion. That's can because they care more about the children and are really happy they have the opportunity to raise them because if it weren't for the children in the foster homes they wouldn't be able to have children's.(http:/gaymarriage.procon.org

Children in their teen years need a mother and a father because if girls are raised by two fathers they are in a higher risk of getting pregnant. In 2012 studies by Mark Regnerus, PhD, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin, found that children raised by parents who had same-sex relationships suffered more difficulties in life: including sexual abuse and unemployment in later life.

6 points to Con (S&G, Arguments, Sources). Reasons for voting decision: Pro had some grammar mistakes in his arguments... Con had none. Con had much more convincing arguments. Con used sources, at least one, while Pro didn't. The two sides are tied in conduct.

[*Reason for removal*] (1) S&G is insufficiently explained. The voter has to establish that these mistakes impaired understanding of the arguments, and not just that they existed. (2) Arguments are insufficiently explained. The voter is required to specifically assess arguments made by both sides in the debate. All the voter does here is generalize about Con's arguments being strong. (3) Sources are insufficiently explained. The voter still has to establish the reliability of the given sources, and not just state that the presence of sources on one side automatically awards them these points.

I technically can't vote, but I would just like to say that patty cake clearly lost. He/she had terrible grammar, and even made statements that are blatantly false, "That is why there is one religion in every country." is an example.
