I have worn glasses since I was 4, and I have recently switched to contacts. Contacts have changed my eyesight drastically! I am able to see farther and I have a better field of vision. Glasses keep falling down, they are uncomfortable, and they dont do as much effect as contacts.
http://www.contactlensheadlines.com... gives 10 reasons why glasses are better than contacts

1.Contact lenses offer better vision than eyeglasses. There's no loss of peripheral (side) vision, and no visual distortion from thick eyeglass lenses.

2.Contact lenses make it easier to play sports. You won't have glasses slipping down your nose, and it's easy to get non-prescription, protective sports eyewear.

3.With contact lenses, it's easier to get cool sunglasses. You won't have hassles with getting prescription sunglasses, and there's no inconvenient switching between eyeglasses and sunglasses.

4.Some contact lenses can even correct your vision while you sleep, enabling glasses- and contacts-free daytime vision.

5.Contact lenses won't fog up or collect raindrops in bad weather, like eyeglasses do. Contact lenses are never in your way!

6.Contact lenses provide great vision without laser eye surgery, and 30-day silicone hydrogel contact lenses provide similar convenience benefits to surgery.

7.Contact lenses won't put uncomfortable weight or telltale eyeglass marks on your nose.

8.Colored contacts provide the opportunity for a fun change-of-pace, either for fashion or cool special effects.

9.You'll have no worries about keeping up with eyeglass frame styles: Contact lenses are always in fashion.

10.When wearing contact lenses, you won't have to worry about losing or misplacing your glasses.

Ok then. Interesting enough. I just want to make a comment that your intro was mostly based on YOUR opinion and experience. A little bit of opinion here and there is okay, but this? Nah. Another comment is that you just copied and pasted EXACTLY what the website says. Um..... not good. What's the point of a debate then? You are just using another person's work as your own. It is okay to use information from others, BUT only as a reference. I will start when my opponent TRULY starts. Thank you.

for those who were not aware of our previous argument, the format was round1 accept, round 2 opening argument, round 3 rebuttal's. We both dislike closing arguments so we only have 3 rounds. as you can see, my opponent has disregarded this format, so I believe she has dropped round 1 and I'll be glad to extend my contentions

First off, I want you to know that grammar and spelling IS part of the vote. Second of all, you did not say what the format was. You should've wrote the format over again, for perhaps we were thinking of two way different formats. Thank you. Also, watch your capitalization please.

Please, if you want to argue more, add more rounds next time. Comments are for comments of voters. Thanks.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com... says that conduct means a way a person acts. That means the behavior towards opponents, not plagarizing. Also, I did give credit to my source that I used.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Remember grammar and spelling? My source is the rules.

I belive conduct is another part of this debate which my opponent clearly doesnt show. Also I would like to say that i clearly gave a source for the information I have found.

Heh. You just copied someone else's work. That is not called debating.

Reasons for voting decision: Dude, contacts are SO much better than glasses. However, harry523 didn't actually make any arguments...he just posted some lists from another website. Plagiarism. So he forfeits his arguments point. And his conduct point. Spelling and grammar goes to 191101568 too for obvious reasons. I'll give sources to harry though because he was the only one to link to any.

Reasons for voting decision: conduct to pro since con plagiarized, arguments to con though since pro really didnt make any and only pointed out that con's arguments were mostly his own opinion

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct goes to pro because con did not make the format of the debate clear. Spelling and grammar goes to Pro because con had capitalization and punctuation errors. Con was the only one who had any arguments, so he gets convincing arguments. Con has ONE source, but one is better than nothing. Sources go to con.
