if god has a wife is she a mortal or if Jesus is mortal does that mean his wife is imortal

Con

If God does in fact have a wife, then she is not mortal. The reason for this is quite simple. The Bible says that the Lord hates sin correct? Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." This means that his mortal wife would be a sinner, and God would not marry a sinner. Perhaps after she dies and goes to Heaven, thus becoming sinless (but also immortal thus negating what i think is the resolve...) like the Lord then it would be more plausible for a marriage to occur. There is no way the Lord can marry a sinner, and all mortals are sinners therefore if God had a wife she would be immortal and sinless.

He says the opponent would be debating his thought (look at comment). So that means con can take whatever view he wants on the subject and debate it, thus forcing pro to argue against it. Even if he doesn't agree with it.
Should be an easy win.
I'll let someone else take it though.

The wife being mortal/immortal is irrelevant to the marital status. Divinity doesn't become imparted with 'I do'. Either the divinity exists prior or not, or it occurs post marriage but nonetheless not from marriage itself. Also the forums are better for questions, not debates.

The resolution is a question and Pros only argument/statement is a sentence fragment thats suppose to be another question :S

What would the argument be about??

You stated a thought but never clearly stated what you believed.
