does it really mater what colour our hair is or what peircings we have? its not like its ruining our education. i belive that we should be able to dye our hair what ever colour we want and have any style we want. it is what makes us unique and school is baciscally telling us that we cant be unique. its not fair, we get told off for the most stupidist things, i mean come in to school with a lighter colour of blonde hair and a cute hair stule and you get sent home ? what sthe point? thats just ruining our education not our hair colour or how many peircings we have.

Con

The uniform or the style allowed for school premises is very important. It represents the school. All may not be so privileged for having their hairs dyed. This feelings may hamper the thoughts of another student. He/She may feel ashamed to come in the school.

i do get that people may be ashamed to come into school because of thier uniforms, but the school is always telling us that we need to be our selfeves and to be our own person. we cannot do this if we are in uniform and under stirct rules

Con

Arani forfeited this round.

First of all I couldn't understand your argument. Second of all the school is not a fool that it would betray its own sayings

Personally, I say it all depends on a certain age group. Even though minors want to express themselves through style and appearance. It shouldn't be allowed for children who have minds that's not fully developed yet. Influences are so strong that can mislead them to make a choice that might seem cool at that period. Hair color or edgy clothing can be a sign of a possible anti - destructive youth, and shouldn't be introduced to those that's never been exposed to other auras. Pre- teens and teens should highly consider their future and education not to make fashion statements. I don't think its unfair to have a child sent home because of hair dye or explicit clothing. I look at as if the youth is being trained for a potential respectful, tasteful, professional environments. And just by having children set there own rules so young is ridiculous; if adults have to follow dress codes just to keep or earn a position, then minors should do the same, especially if its dealing with the public, outside of school is different; if girls or boys want color in there hair than do it that's why they have rinse out dye, to avoid unnessary situations.

Reasons for voting decision: I could not understand what Pro meant at all. Con had way better spelling and grammar which made it look like he/she actually cared. Despite the forfeit, I feel that con had a good reasoning behind it.

Reasons for voting decision: pro brought up some valid points while con seemed confused over what was the issue in the debate. He gave no line of counter-arguments, even forfeited a round, and blew several other rounds as well, clear win for the pro

Reasons for voting decision: Con loses conduct due to forfeiture. Pro loses S&G for fairly obvious reasons. Nobody used any sources, but I'll award arguments to Pro since Con didn't really retaliate in round 3. Overall, a disappointing debate. I voted just so there won't be a stalemate.
