Hippos are better than turtles for many different reasons. Firstly, Hippos are a much strong animal. If it came down to a fight a hippo would be able to simply crush a turtle with their tremendously strong jaws.
It seems my opponent is saying that Rhinos are aggressive and apt to fight. On the other hand, the turtle is a pacifist and a friend of all. He lives within his means (literally, in his own shell) and only eats what he needs. He does not try to dominate and suppress others' to his will, nor does he ask much of others. He is also friendly toward humans and can even be kept as a pet. Rhinos may be stronger, but might does not make right!
First of all, the debate is about how hippos are better then turtles. To suggest that Rhinos have anything to do with hippos other than them both being pachyderms is ridiculous. The original point that I was trying to make was that hippos were a more powerful animal than turtles. If a turtle ever had to fight a hippo, the turtle would surly lose. Unless, of course, they were some king of mutated turtle that had ninja training. Even if that was the case a hippo would still be able to destroy the turtle handedly. For my next point, turtle are cowards. They use their shell as a way to hide from the world. When ever there is a problem they do not face it head on like a hippo. The turtle simply tucks its head in and hopes that the world's problems go away. What a sad excuse for an animal.
