hi I'd like to thank my opponent for taking this argument okay first of all i would identify what everything is:
werewolf: a human which has the ability to transform into a wolf/human hybrid and has characteristics of both and the weaknesses commonly associated with werewolves
vampires: a vampire by death, birth or bite shape shifting and all weaknesses and strengths commonly associated with vampires
cage fight: a fight to the death in a UFC style octagon

okay lets look at basic statistics werewolves are generally stronger and faster than vampires so on basic statistics werewolves win. if a vampire attacks and the werewolf's reactions are faster its obviously going to be able to fend at attack and with superior strength and speed the werewolf should be able to return the hit faster and with more power and with hunting instinct it would most likely be directed at the throat. another advantage the werewolf has over the vampire is longer claws and a mouthful of teeth and the amount of power they can put into an attack is lethal
I look forward to seeing my opponents argument and good luck

Thank you for proposing this very interesting debate.

I believe that in a cage fight, a vampire would definitely beat a werewolf, for the following reasons:

Intelligence and Experience

Werewolves age at normal speed in their human form, while Vampires are immortal and and average Vampire is several hundred years old, which gives them an advantage in fighting experience.

Furthermore, Vampires are highly intelligent and wise creatures, unlike Werewolves who are merely beasts.

In a cage fight, a werewolf could only rely on his animalistic instincts, weather a Vampire could use several tactics and tricks to kill his enemy.

Mind Control

Vampires have telepathic powers. If the Werewolf is fighting a Master Vampire or a regular Vampire who's gift is strong telepathic powers, it would be impossible for him not to fall under a spell or be forced to injure or kill himself.

A Vampire could also confuse the Werewolf and slow him down, or put him in a dream-like or coma-like state and killing him off slowly.

Levitation

Vampires can climb walls, levitate and fly, weather a Werewolf can only jump. In a cage fight, the Vampire's superior acrobatic abilities would put him at a huge advantage over the Werewolf, who would sit there like a lame duck, waiting to be killed.

Control over the Elements

Vampire can control and create rain, wind, thunder and fog. A Vampire could easily form a curtain of fog in the cage and play hide and seek with the disoriented Werewolf, attacking him from behind and finishing him off.

Shapeshifting

Vampires can shape-shift and transform into several types of animals. A Vampire can transform in a Wolf, and confusing the Werewolf, making him believe he is in front of an animal of his kind, and then attack him by surprise.

A Vampire could also shape shift into a Bat and fly around the cage and attacking the Werewolf from above, behind or unexpectedly.

A Vampire could also shape shift into an insect, going unnoticed, and climb on the Werewolf's fur, going all the way up to his head and then shape-shift into his natural form and sticking his teeth or claws into the Werewolf's eyes, blinding him and making him an easy target, or he could just cut his throat and make him bleed to death, or using his supernatural strength to cut his head off altogether.

Against the numerous powers of Vampires, Werewolves are helpless.

OK con you say you say "intelligence and experience", i can not deny the fact that a vampire is usually older and wiser but you had said " a werewolf could only rely on his animalistic instincts" yes that is true, but that is exactly what makes the werewolf superior a vampire has to think about and attack and weigh the consequences whereas a werewolf's natural instincts tell him where an when to strike ad the most effective way to kill such as decapitation and the fact that werewolves are faster come in handy there so experience can't win

Mind Control
yes that is a belief but by the time the vampire has even made a thought the werewolf attacks with excellence in speed, agility and power it attacks the vampires vulnerability

Levitation
yes a vampire could easily climb the cage and do a spell but werewolf's strength plays in and could easily jump the height of the cage and take the vampire out. you might say a vampire would just use telepathic skills on him but like i said the werewolf isn't just a raging beast, it as a high human intelligence and could resist until it attacks the vampire because a vampire is slower while using telepathy.

Control over the Elements
yes they can create wind, thunder and fog but that would just help the werewolf because their senses are considerably better than a vampire and by the time the vampire knows where the wolf is it will be to late.

Shape-shifting
yes a vampire cold shape shift but a werewolf could pick out a bug because of his sight and by the time the vampire has morphed the werewolf will have already attacked

so yes a vampire has many ways to kill but he is extremely fragile compared to a werewolf because a erewolf can counter every attack the vampire makes.

My opponent has admitted the that every single Vampire-power thatI have mentioned is real.

A Vampire does can rely on a wide set of skills, powers and attributes, weather the Werewolf only has is brute force and instincts, with no intelligence and experience to back them up.

A Werewolf, contrary to what my opponent writes, a Werewolf does not have human intelligence and is indeed only a wild beast.

It is well known that a human loses all control and human qualities upon transformation into a Werewolf, that is the reason why a Werewolf does not remember what he has been doing while being under the influence of his transformation and why Werewolves who know about their condition lock themselves up before a full moon night as not to hurt their friends and loved ones.

To sum it all up, a Werewolf can only rely on his force and animalistic instincts in a fight, while a Vampire has a wide range of skills and powers, including super-natural force and speed, flight and levitation abilities, mind control, shape-shifting and hundreds of years of experience, all of which are unquestionably superior to the few strengths of Werewolves.

There is no doubt that a sophisticated, highly experienced and highly intelligent Vampire would win a cage fight against a wild beast such as a Werewolf.

okay so what con is saying is that vampires are smarter and have more powers yes that is true but h also said that werewolves are just mindless beasts well that is not the case you see he failed to back it up with real proof. he aid that they lose control and don't remember a thing in folk lore yes but in folk lore vampires don't have as many attributes as con states so we can't use that and even if we do just because a werewolf doesn't remember and he loses control doesn't mean he loses his intelligence. anther thing everyone agrees humans are smarter than lions and have more abilities such as the ability to climb the cage and use improvised weapons. but a lion is still going to win in a cage fight. so intelligence doesn't always win but the lions animal instinct does.
so i thank con for this excellent debate and hope to debate with him again in the future.

Yayks got problems with the internet this week! Sorry for posting my closing over here.

My last point is very simple:

My opponent acknowledged all of the Vampire powers that I described, and those are the more classical ones, to be found in the earliest Vampire novels, such as Bram Stoker's Dracula.

The only thing that goes for the Werewolf is plain animal instinct, weather the Vampire is a more intelligent, powerful, sophisticated creature who has usually hundreds of years of experience and great wisdom.

In a cage fight, the Vampire would put all of his powers and abilities to good use to beat such an unsophisticated beast as a Werewolf!

Thanks for reading and apologize for not finishing in the debate 100% on time.

Why are they fighting anyway? Did the werewolf eat the vampies girlfriend or something? I swear these werewolves and vampires are buddies anyway. I've seen twilight. Are you trying to tear them apart you guys? Thats sick.

Also; is the cage on a plane or in space? That might make a difference.

No actually. If they work for the Daily Mail that is worse.

I think the important thing to remember here is whether the werewolf or the newscaster works for Fox.

What I'm thinking is that if you made it fair by giving both the werewolf and the vampire bazookas and body armour and possibly a tank I'd beat them 2v1
