Media is a face or the mirror to the sociaety so it is too eeffective. On the persons so we should always be careful what they show or what our family grap from them.

The media should have the right to play whatever they deem justifiable.
THIS DOES NOT COUNT AS VIDEOS OF TERRORISM. THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW, NOT PART OF CENSORSHIP.
Contention 1: The Media is responsible.
The media knows what topics are sensitive and not, but they must report the news. An example is with the Jordanian pilot. The pilot was burned alive by ISIS. The media had to report on this, but they did not show the video because they deemed it wrong. The media is responsible enough to play what they deem necessary.
Contention 2: Censorship is the beginning of a slippery slope. Any censorship will lead to some people wanting more, and it runs a high risk of slowly becoming worse and worse until all freedoms are stripped away. As James Madison, who framed the US Constitution"s protection of freedom of expression, wrote, it is often prudent to permit some abuse of freedom of expression in order to ensure that legitimate use of the right is not discouraged:
"Some degree of abuse is inseparable from the proper use of everything, and in no instance is this more true than in that of the press. It ... is better to leave a few of its noxious branches to their luxuriant growth than, by pruning them away, to injure the vigour of those yielding the proper fruits." Some topics will be insensitive and freedom of expression can lead to a few bad things, but we must not censor as to cut into freedom and news that needs to be reported.
Contention 3: Censorship will only make something more popular, unless everything is censored. If one thing is censored, it can easily be gotten around. It is like a parent telling a child, " Whatever you do, don't take a cookie!" What is the one thing the child wants to do most? Censorship will not prevent terrorism. There are ways to get around it. If we make it illegal, then people will just do it illegally.

My opponent has forfeited the round, and his first round was simply a statement, and the terrible grammar makes it unreadable.
I back up my contentions below.
The media is responsible enough to handle itself. It knows the boundaries between what is needed and what is not, and when they cross that line they apologize.
Minor Censorship leads to worse things, as it is the beginning of a slippery slope.
And censorship will not prevent something from being found unless it is total censorship. Another example is Prohibition. The US took away alcohol, but no one cared, they still drank it. Even people supposed to be enforcing that very law had bootleg liquor stores.
Thank you and I urge a con vote.
