imagination is false

Con

The fact that I think, proves that my thoughts exist.

Pro

so you cant lie?
SJM

Con

I can lie, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exists. This is sort of like me saying "This chair is ugly", even though I don't actually think it is, and someone saying that my comment never existed because I lied.

If imagination didn't exist, anyone viewing this wouldn't be able to reflect and create new ideas. For example, I just thought of a vacuum toaster, that vacuums and toasts at the same time.

lies dont create matter.. neither does you statement that a chair is ugly change a chair

lies are false, false is imaginary
SJM

Con

For something to exist doesn't mean it has to have matter. If so, then no Christian would be defending god, since they see him not as something with matter. Also, nothing creates matter since it can't be made or destroyed by newton laws, therefore what you said has been refuted, and furthermore what if the imaginary is true?

Reasons for voting decision: Pro didn't really prove anything, as Pro has the burden of proof. Con explained more thoroughly why Pro was wrong.
