Media violence is having a negative effect on today's youth, some kids and teens don't understand where the boundary of make believe and the real world ends. Some kids take their music literal and take everything they listen to, to heart. For example rap music has in a influenced gang violence in the form of gangster rap. Games like grant theft auto has had the power to influence a person to act out what they see on the game.

That is true. But then again Music,Movies,Games,. Are entertainment. There not meant for kids to act on in real life. Everyone has free will. If they choose to act out on what they see in the game that is there choice. The games are not meant for them too. So it's Really them doing that to themselves. yeah the Games may contribute to them acting out. But at the end of they day it's THERE choice.

The point of this argument was to prove that media is having a negative effect on people, not whether it was their choice to do it or not. You said yourself that it does have an effect on them.

You don't understand what i'm saying. Your right it does have a effect on them. But If it makes them act out that bad. There parents shouldnt let them Listen or play or watch those things. But like I said at the end of the day. It's there choice what they do,

they cant really avoid the media though, its all around us. In the music we listen to, what we watch on tv. There is no way to escape from it, so whatever the parent says the kid will always be exposed to violence.

Yes you can. I will agree that We see it on the news and everyday life. But once we get home It's OUR choice what we listen, Watch, Or play. We decide what we do once we are in the comfort of our own homes. So really we have no escape from it. But also You do not have to follow the Violence. Be a Leader Not A Follower.
