Con

Fear - an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm.

Looking at this definition we can also tell that fear is not necessarily based on knowledge. Fear is primarily based on the fear of danger. All I need to do to win this debate is to provide an example of when no fear can be equal to someone not being certain.

An example of this is: a boy is doing an exam, he does not know the answer to many of the questions. He is not scared like his friends are, he had no fear.

This example shows that the boy was not certain about anything (as my opponent claims that he has to). Since there is no 2nd round to this debate I have won since I can refute what my opponent staes and my opponent cannot refute my arguments.

Vote Con!

Reasons for voting decision: Deja vu? No egregious conduct on either side. Pro's spelling and grammar inhibited the understanding of the already nondescript resolution. Pro's first round was one long run on sentence, and this particularly confounded the resolution more. Con's grammar was fine. Grammar to Con. Pro's burden was to...I have no idea, because there was no clear resolution. From Pro's capital letters equation, I'm going with the resolution, "having no fear is equal to being certain of answers." So Con needed to show that "no fear" and "being certain of answers" were an inequality. Con provides a valid example of a student being uncertain of answers to an exam, yet exhibiting no fear, unlike his peers. This shows that "no fear" and "being certain of answers" are in fact not equal. Con successfully rejected the incoherent resolution. Arguments to Con. Con provided a relevant source for the definition of fear, Pro had no sources. Sources to Con.
