Could the principles of nonviolence and civil disobedience endorsed by Thoreau, King, and Gandhi still be relevant and solve conflicts in our twenty-first century.

I accept this debate and will argue that forms of peaceful protest and negotiation can still be used in the 21st century successfully.

Other than that,

The Resolution is "Could the principles of nonviolence and civil disobedience endorsed by Thoreau, King, and Gandhi still be relevant and solve conflicts in our twenty-first century."

As the Pro I only have to show how the use of nonviolence and peaceful protest can still be used successfully in the world.

Egypt and Tunisia were once oppressive countries that because of large rallies of peaceful protesters now have new governments that are less oppressive than the previous ones.

Know I only have one example but I still feel that I have shown how non violent protests can still be utilized successfully in the 21st century
