Um, other dogs can kill children too, you know. Like um... A mastiff. It can apply 400lbs more than any pit bull. And, the media just says that they attack out of nowhere, when in actuality, if you don't know the warning signs of an attack, that's your fault. The dog said, "Screw off you I'll attack you." And it did what it said it would. It attacked. And even if pit bulls magically disappeared, do you HONESTLY think that dog attacks wouldn't exist? Oh god I hope not. Because abusive owners and dogfighters would target another breed. The only way to solve it is to ban all dogs. All of them. And about the ban. In a ton of cities, peoples dogs were taken away, and the owners were given 48hrs to leave or their innocent dogs would be killed. Out of around... 16,000 pit bulls taken, 8,000 of them died. In some shelters, if a pit bull is brought in, they kill it. Even puppies. They are MURDERING innocent BABY ANIMALS! How does that feel? Terrible? That you're supporting the slaughter of puppies? How would you like it if you weren't even given a chance to prove that you're not a monster, you're just killed. What if you were framed for murder? They wouldn't just kill you on the spot! They need evidence. I respect your opinion I just don't understand it because other dogs are capable if not more capable of killing people.

I would like to start by pointing out how ridiculous your opinion is on warning signs of a dog attack. Do you honestly believe that people need to be educated on the signs of dog attacks so they can be safe in their own communities? The children and toddlers that have been attacked, mauled, disfigured and killed may not have attended the signs of dog attack lesson yet. My opinion is that people have zero responsibility to learn the possible signs of attack by a dog or any other animal. If you spend time in the woods, it would be smart to become bear, and cougar smart. But people who live in cities and modern society should not have to take any steps to protect themselves from other peoples pets. We have a right to live in a safe society. People do not have the right too own dangerous animals as pets. And pit bulls are dangerous animals.

Lets look at the history of pit bulls and some stats that prove they are extremely dangerous.

Pit bulls were selectively bred by the English for Bull baiting, killing rats, and too dog fight. Their genetics give them a very high prey drive, and they are by far the most game breed of dog. Pit bulls have been known to fight on stumps (having their legs chewed off in battle they continue to fight). Dogmen had champion fighters known as man-eaters who were the most prized dogs of all because they were the most vicious.

When family owned pit bulls attack and tear a kid to shreds, everyone is somehow shocked. This is because the pit lobby is spreading lies about the history of pits and their capabilities as fighting dogs. All animals are unpredictable, but it is the pit bulls selective breeding and their capabilities as a fighter that make them the most dangerous dog on earth.

Those that claim it is how they are raised are ignoring these genetic capabilities and are asking for trouble doing so. Thousands of well trained, well loved pit bull attack other animals, children, and people every year in the USA.

-A pit bill severely injures 2 people in the USA every 12 hours.
-Pit bulls have killed 96 people in the USA since 2012.
-Pit bulls killed over 4,000 animals in the USA last year.

Those of us who are educated on the subject are not surprised pit bulls behave this way. It's what they were bred for.
The pit supporters like to deny it and blame it on bad owners.
These people seem to be OK with pit bulls killing children.
Every pit is capable of being a cold blooded killing machine. It's what they were born for.

Would you want an animal like that around your family?

Here is what some pit bull experts say about the breed.

CESAR MILAN, celebrity dog trainer

"Yeah, but this is a different breed...the power that comes behind bull dog, pit bull, the fighting breed - They have an extra boost, they can go into a zone, they don't feel the pain anymore. He is using the bulldog in him, which is way too powerful, so we have to 'make him dog' (I guess as in a "regular" dog) so we can actually create the limits.

So if you are trying to create submission in a fighting breed, it's not going to happen. They would rather die than surrender.". If you add pain, it only infuriates them pain is that adrenaline rush, they are looking forward to that, they are addicted to it...

That's why they are such great fighters." Cesar goes on to say..."Especially with fighting breeds, you're going to have these explosions over and over because there's no limits in their brain."

RAY BROWN, former pit bull owner, breeder, dog fighter

Pit bulls didn't become dangerous because we fight them; we fight them because the English specifically bred them to be dangerous.

MARK PAULHUS, HSUS southeast regional coordinator

If it chooses to attack, it's the most ferocious of all dogs. I've never known of a pit bull that could be called off (during a fight). They lose themselves in the fight.

F.L. DANTZLER, HSUS director of field services

"They're borderline dogs. They're right on the edge all of the time. Even if the dogs are not trained or used for fighting, and even though they are generally good with people, their bloodline makes them prone to violence."

I think a big part of the problem is pit supporters do not even know how dangerous they are. Pit bulls are responsible for more severe attacks and kills than all other breeds combined.

Over 50% of pit bulls in family homes fail due to aggression issues. A huge problem is over breeding. Most pits do not have homes and the pit lobby trying to place these pits in family homes is reckless and dangerous. Until this breed is banned and breeding them is illegal thousands of pits will continue to die in shelters every week.

Since pit bulls are attacking and severely injuring 2 people in the USA every 12 hours, people who are not emotionally attached too the breed see it as common sense that we protect children, people, and other animals and pets.

The data showing that pit bulls are responsible for more severe attacks and kills than all other breeds combined is meaningful and frightening.

Common sense should tell us, with out the help of attack stats, that dogs bred too bring down 2,000 lb bulls and too fight and kill other dogs are dangerous.

We know that pit bulls are dangerous! The fact they are killing children all over the USA confirms their danger!

Pit bulls were bred for hundreds of years too fight. Why would anyone think they are a good breed for a family pet?

Malaki Mildward, 7-years old, was viciously killed by two 8 or 9-month old pit bull-mixes while playing in his yard. There were two adult pit bulls, a male and female, also living at the home, but were inside during the attack. The adult female, Road, had delivered a litter during the previous summer; the two fatally attacking dogs were from that litter. Malaki's stepfather, Jeremiah Hicks, was in the home when the attack occurred. The boy's mother and two other children were away. When several family members, including a 10-year old boy, returned to the home, they saw Malaki's body in the yard. The dogs had horribly attacked the boy and stripped away most of his clothes. Road had bitten the 10-year old boy four months earlier. His mother reported the biting incident to the sheriff's office and the Iowa Department of Human Services, but DHS classified the bite report as unfounded and no follow through occurred. Road and her two fatally attacking offspring were euthanized; Hicks kept the male pit bull.

There are way to many incidents like the one above with pit bulls. To many dead kids, to many disfigured kids, to many elderly people attacked, to many people hurt by these dogs. 2 people are severely injured every 12 hours by a pit bull in the USA.

Yes other dogs can kill people, children, and the elderly. NOT JUST PIT BULLS. You don't complain about people owning lions. You only complain about pit bulls. Hm is that a coincidence? I don't think so.
