poor built education system?
Debate Rounds (3)
"I don't even go to school anymore its just a bunch of uneducated people teaching to more uneducated people. Wanna know why? Its because the school board sets state standards so basically i go to school to learn the circumference of a pineapple instead of how to take care of a baby, how to fix a car, write a check things you actually need in the real world."
It's a shame you may of dropped out, it really is. But when you stated that it's uneducated people, that are teaching the students, it upsets me. I've spoken to many of my teachers, some who dropped out, have spent years studying the topic that they're teaching. So no, when a person spent twenty years excelling in college, they are not uneducated.
Then you go on about how schools don't teach how to care for a baby. That is false, there was an option for me, in MIDDLE SCHOOL, actually many options, to learn how to do basic things like raise a child, basic cooking, even laundry and other things. I don't remember the name of the classes, but it was in Alder Creek Middle School.
There was a program that had elementary schools in Portland that took them to a center to learn how to write checks, about money, jobs, and basic necessities. You can also ask your parents, or grandparents to teach you how to write checks.
In Sabin and Schellenberg, they have automotive repair, law enforcements, wood works classes.
It's simply if you're in the right area in America. Depends which schools and colleges you got to, what programs and activities they have.
Although the current Educational System isn't perfect, doesn't mean it was poorly made. There are opportunities that you have to take in order to excel.
