Pro

the constitution states that we are allowed to choose and practice any religion if any and congress can make no law against it... we dont need to pray as a class be me and my christian friends should be allowed to gather and praise MY God
Elizabeth3648

Con

It should not be aloud because of the fact that people of other religions don't want to hear or see it. I am not predigest against anyone but it just isn't something that everyone wants to see.

If they want to go and do it in a group then do it away from us and outside of school so we don't need to have the preaching of other peoples religions.

Separation of Governtment and religion. We pay are tax dollars for a Governtment associates facility(school) and so the separation of church stands, therefore prayer should not be allowed.

Reasons for voting decision: Both debaters had horrible grammar. Both FF'd, but Con did it less, so the point goes to Con. Args to Pro, as he presented an argument based off of the constitutional right to freedom of religion (and there is also free speech, which he didn't bring up, so I will not vote off of that).
