sibalsuvarcha

Con

reading certainly doesnot make us better indivisuals
imabench

Pro

Reading most definitely DOES make you a better individual because people who read a lot tend to not have amazingly sh*tty grammar (as evidenced by the title of the debate)

Reading improves grammar, and better grammar makes someone a better individual since they dont talk or type like English is their third language.....
Debate Round No. 1
sibalsuvarcha

Con

sibalsuvarcha forfeited this round.
imabench

Pro

Seriously? Why would you only put 15 minutes between rounds????
Debate Round No. 2
sibalsuvarcha

Con

sibalsuvarcha forfeited this round.
imabench

Pro

That reminds me, reading makes you a better individual because it wont cause people to set idiotically low time periods for submitting arguments on debates and cause them to forfeit every round....

Reasons for voting decision: Wow. Conduct for the forfeits (although Pro forfeited the last round, he had far fewer, had no actual debating from Con to work with, and warned in advance), but also for the 15-minute rounds--it was clearly an attempt at a cheap shot, an attempt that miserably failed. S&G for what should be obvious reasons that Pro pointed out. Arguments because Pro actually made a case, and Con presented nothing. Nobody sourced. As always, happy to clarify anything in this RFD.
