Why do we as Australians or as any one simply judge people on their colour? "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream today!" this quote was by Martin Luther King, Jr and this man changed the world but now we are doing what he didn"t want, people being judged by there skin and what we are doing is judging them all just by a common stereotype. Boat people were unfairly tarnished by the children overboard scandal that won John Howard an election in 2001. However we now know that he was not telling the truth as tolled in the leaky boats documentary. And that is a clear example of Australians not being fair .

According to Pro, Australians are racist, judgemental prone to lying and unfair.

Thus the resolution is negated.
Debate Round No. 1

that is not what i meant i do believe that yes some time we can be unfair and all that but not all the time but i just think that we should let them in and help them

I think it would be severely cruel of Australians, if they are as you describe, to invite refugees into their land just to treat them in the ways that you conveyed to be Australian hospitality.

Additionally, this resolution is from the perspective of a refugee seeking help opting for australia, as opposed to more inviting unjudgemental nations.

The Kiwis seem rather inviting, eh?
