There has been a steady decline in an idea of divine rights of a specific individual but however one cannot deny the fact that there is a increase in terrorist activity motivated by religion.

So more religion means more terrorists? Can you back this up, and say how religion correlates (related via dependent/independent variables) to terrorism?

YES,
Definition of terrorism as it is "terrorism is any act designed to cause fear, intimidation to further ones goals".
Just take a few examples.
We have Army of God in U.S. using violence against doctors backed by religious claims;
then we have Saffron war in India which promote death for beef consumption again backed by religious motivation;
Islam, probably the greatest threat to global peace right now, preaches through Quran to wage war on and annihilate (kill) all idol worshipers and non-believers.
So yes, religion can directly correlate to terrorism.

Y'all should provide statistical proof that religion is, or is not, the leading cause for terrorism; And you should also specify what religions are responsible for terrorism. All the while provide why religion is beneficial, or not.

You have to provide statistical proof that religion as a whole causes religion. Terrorists can just as easily be political radicals.
