I believe that schools should not teach Re in any way please debate this .

First, let us define some words.

Religion - "The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods." [1]
Taught - "Give information about or instruction in (a subject or skill)." [2]
School - "An institution for educating children." [3]

I believe that schools should be allowed to teach religion, from a purly information based standpoint. While I agree that they should not try to convert children into any particular religion, teaching them different religions, the history of different religion, how religion has had an impact on various cultures, and world events is important to giving students a broad understanding of their world, and helps to fight ignorance.

I'll leave it at that, and allow my opponent to begin his opening argument round.

Firstly thanks for joining the Debate I hope its a good one

Even though it does help people have a wider understanding of other people and cultures it can help pick out targets who admit to being religious or are wearing a religious icon such as the kara (Hindu bracelet)and may lead to teasing and bullying especially to children who are muslim as a very anti muslim mindset has spread around the country due to terrorist actions

Reasons for voting decision: CONDUCT: Both FF but con did it first. SOURCES: Con used at least 3 sources as pro had none to prove his/her stance. SPELLING/GRAMMAR: Con's arguments were free of errors while pro had a few. ARGUMENTS: Con's arguments were a reasonable size for an argument while pro was a little short on argument size. MESSAGE: PRO: With having spelling mistakes, being short on arguments, and having no sources, I could tell you were rushing with your arguments. Your arguments were not detailed and not edited. Con: You used sources, had perfect spelling, and your arguments were 'just right'. You were detailed and I could tell you putted a lot of effort. Nice job.

Reasons for voting decision: Due to being the first to forfeit, Ore_Ele loses conduct. Spelling and grammar was pretty straightforward, as Ore_Ele did not make a single mistake whereas pro made a few. Con also loses arguments due to being the first to forfeit. Con used three sources while pro used none. Con's sources were somewhat unreliable, but still sources indeed.
