Would country music be limited here to US country music? I'm British, and I'd love to promote Scots, Welsh, and Irish folk.

I am eager, but will not accept this particular debate, because we define song merely as a short metrical composition intended or adapted for entertainment and singing, especially one in rhymed stanzas; a lyric; a ballad. In that case, I agree.

We define country as a form of popular music originating in the rural southern US. It is traditionally a mixture of ballads and dance tunes played characteristically on fiddle, guitar, steel guitar, drums, and keyboard. It isn't necessarily intended to honor our country and military personel who sacrifice themselves for our freedom.

However, depending on its specific category, if so, otherwise, country music would be considerably and inherently better.
