Hi, this is a fast round 5 minuets to type an argument and only two rounds

My argument is that saying hi is more polite than saying hello
My arguments are
1. saying hello sounds like your saying hell you wouldn't want to sound rude.
2. saying hi is quicker
3. its easier to spell
BLAHthedebator

Con

I accept.

I believe nothing is better or more polite than the other. In the case of school friends and stuff, saying hi will be more polite; however in the case of business partners, saying hello will be more polite.

saying hi around business partners is always better because you want to get right to business, saying hi can be more practical.

Thank you and Good luck

Con

I will now refute my opponents arguments.

1. My opponent says "hi" is easier to spell. This is irrelevant to the topic.
2. My opponent states that hello has the word hell in it. This is also irrelevant, unless the person puts emphasis on the hell.

I rest my case.

Reasons for voting decision: con proves that pro just commits Strawman fallacies that don't really contribute to his case. Good job pushing the burden of proof very nicely, discretely, onto pro. Pro should state in the beginning that "con has to state why hello is more polite than hi", in order to prevent this kind of stuff from happening. Nevertheless, good job to con.
