For roosters obviously lay vast amounts of eggs each day for our consumption

My opponent states that eggs come from roosters. This is indeed incorrect. According to Wikipedia(and Wikipedia never lies. :P) a rooster is a male chicken(http://en.wikipedia.org...). Female chickens, hens lay eggs.

Also, the eggs do not come out already scrambled. They must be scrambled by a human being who is cooking them. This is a freshly cracked egg from a hen: http://www.faqs.org...

-" Wikipedia never lies."- I lol'd

-"Also, the eggs do not come out already scrambled."- I never stated that they came out of the bird already scrambled.. The egg comes from the bird and the egg then gets used to make scrambled eggs, Therefore the scrambled eggs had come from the bird.

-"This is a freshly cracked egg from a hen " + "This is a scrambled egg " This is indeed true but I don't understand how this supports anything... As I stated before I never said that the bird layed the egg in scrambled form but that scrambled eggs come from the bird.

I look forward to my opponents response

I'll like to point out that my opponent failed to mention that the eggs don't come out of the bird scrambled. Failed semantics is fail. My opponent only mentioned that "scrambled eggs come from roosters". My previous argument still stands.

I look forward to my opponent's response.

My previous argument still stands."- I would like to point out to my opponent that I did not use birds for plural I used bird as in one.. also I would like to say that a rooster is indeed a bird. Not a crustacean like others may believe but in fact a bird.-

-"I look forward to my opponent's response."- logical I suppose

Thank you for an amusing debate. :) Now onto my final argument...

My opponent states that he said one bird. However, the title of the debate reads "Scrambled eggs come from roosters" rather than "Scrambled eggs come from a rooster." Therefore he must mean they come from multiple roosters.

If you think about it, without the rooster, chickens can't naturally lay eggs. So, after the eggs have been scrambled, the rooster is inadvertantly responsible for your scrambled eggs. Have you ever seen a mean rooster? It can scramble them itself. ; )

he did not say the eggs come directly from the roosters already scrambled and maybe he got mixed up between hens and roosters he just said scrambled eggs come from them which is totally correct they must come from them to be scrambled therefore he is correct(besides the rooster part)

Con, why are you debating about weather
moose said rooster or roosters? How will this help your argument?
