Did you know that North Korea has 1.2 million troops without any allies while South Korea has only 504,000. It is obvious who would win in that fight. The U.S needs to send in more troops to help the South Koreans deal with North Korea. The total defense budget is 530 billion dollars a year. Sending 20,000 more troops there would cost 12 billion that's 2.4% of the budget. isn't it better to be safe than sorry

We shouldn't send more troops to south Korea. As I am living in a country called S. Korea I realized that S. Korea isn't weak. They have a lot of jets and ships and were always preparing to fight in any time. All men in S. Korea should be able to go to the military after 19 years old and from 14~24months they need to get away from their parents and fight for it. It would be a great chance if Other UN countries support our country but it isn't needed. I know that we should be prepared, but troops to s. korea is an early step for us and also sending troops cause a lot of money. Where does the money come from?? the tax!! Won't it be right to use those money in welfare than in country where additional troops aren't needed?
