Egypt has been under this mans rule for 30 years he has embezzled and cheated these egyptian people most eqyptians make about $2 a day and he was making billions of dollars a day he used his power to murder people and you should vote in aff for these three reasons
1) Equality
We need to take the stand and appologize for something we supported and allow all people to be created equal "a person is a person no matter how small"

2) human rights
all humans should be given these rights we are all people and they desere an apology because we destroyed their lives by paying and supporting his reign

3) family
he killed captured and stole peoples family members and tortured them stole billions and were imprisoned and killed for no reason

so for these three reasons i urge you to vote in affirmation

yeah, given that there were no rules about round #1 being acceptance, probably would have been prudent to just say your peace in round #1, and then watch the guy forfeit. As it stands, he actually did make an argument, and you didn't.

I just thought that was the convention.

Is that rule posted somewhere? If so, I will update my vote.

I thought a double forfeit was an automatic loss.

Reasons for voting decision: Totally confused. Pro made 3 arguments in R1. Ten con writes "I accept this debate, and look forward to your response." response to what? con didn't make any arguments to respond to, & not only that, but he failed to counter pros arguments.

Reasons for voting decision: While Pro forfeited (conduct), he also presented three arguments which Con never rebutted. "[H]e killed captured and stole peoples family members and tortured them." With no arguments to the contrary, this sounds like someone America shouldn't have supported, and perhaps Americans should apologize.
