I feel that they should be aloud. These kind of sports teaches discipline and could one day help you if you ever get attacked on the streets.

It is my belief that blood sports should be banned. They can cause injury, scars, and even death. In September 2001 and December 2004, the MMA did a study on mixed martial arts. Of the 171 matches they studied, 69 (40.3%) ended in injury for at least one player. Do we really want our youth, or adults for that matter, playing such violent sports? And what happens when a child brings his new "talent" home? There could be major injuries caused because a child does not know that these things can hurt people. Yes, these sports do teach some amount of discipline, but they also are teaching the 101 ways of killing a person with your own two hands. If you want your child to learn discipline, put him/her in a sport that does not teach violence.
