College should not be free because if that was the case college would be even harder to get into than it all ready is.

I disagree because you would still have to aply to college so they wouldnt let any more people in than they did before.

If collage was free it could give many opportunities to students that come from poor familys but want to go to collage so that they can get a good education to get a good job and make money for their familys.

This is true that students form poor families would go to college, however those students can apply for financial aid or a scholarship. Also many of those families do not support their children in school so the likly hood that they could get in to college is low.

Pro: guys ever heard of Alexander Hamilton founding father in the USA he grew up from poverty and became an influential founding father. Very close friend to George Washington the first president of the united states. in other word free collage would give a chance for people like him to have a greater impact on the world.
Con: this would make getting into a collage a tremendously hard thing to accomplish and with limited collages out there. Kids would probably no longer want to go to any collage and try to save their time actually learning from someone first hand like apprenticeship. with an option like an apprenticeship available who would want a collage. Furthermore into free collage who would pay the teachers at these collages?
Altogether I would state that all the people who would support free collage would be the people who cannot afford it or is a student who wants to no longer worry about loans until after collage but, the point being that anyone already graduated from collage would disagree most likely.

Nothing like this is ever free. Someone is paying for it. They are called "tax payers".
