Teachers in academies and schools use corporal punishments to change student's behaviour, but as soon as children get punished that way, the child will get mad and depressed. The child will start thinking that he is a bad person and a useless person. If they get punished like that too much they will become violent, and also they will become aggressive to their friends. Instead or punishing the teachers and parents should emphasis good behavior and applause them when they do something good, so they will feel better when they are prasied and will try better when their doing something positive

hi, jack!! i think teachers can use corperal punishment.. yeah, you're right, almost all of the teachers use corperal punishment. nobody like that. do you?? i dont think so. you did'nt do anything, but you get punish because of the student that did something wrong.but, i dont think people get mad or violent because of punishment. and corperate punishment is used more in middle school or high school. and, also, if teacher don't use corperate punishment, nobody will bequite, and teacher will get really angery. you don't want to make your teacher mad. these are the reason why i think teachers can use corperal punishment..

Your right that elementary school teachers don't use corporal punishment on student but my topic was should corp al punishment use in schools or ACADEMIES.
Well most of the academies that i went to used corp al punishment a lot. For example if u didn't do like 5 questions of homework then teachers use corp al punishment without even listening to why i couldn't do it. I think instead of doing that they should talk with the student few times and if he dosen't listen then call the parents.

I think bringing back the pointed dunce cap and putting the child in the corner is a far more effective. The ACLU will never allow corporal punishment to be reinstated so it is pointless to even debate it. Public humiliation is the best form of punishment for children and adults for minor infractions or even serious ones. Corporal punishment is now considered assault and battery under the law. If you so much as even push somebody or touch them you can be charged with this crime.
