I take the position that extreme sports should be banned because of how many people risk their lives on a daily and how one little slip up could cause a major or fatal disaster

I wil be taking the position that extreme sports should not be banned. My reasoning is that the people who take part in these sports know about the danger but still take part anyway. I am an experienced racing kart driver who has experienced many major crashes and even had a very close call last week with a stuck throttle and no brakes. But it still doesn"t stop me from competing and I"m yet to see someone stop racing due to a crash.

In summary, yes the sports are dangerous but it shouldn"t be banned. There are a lot more dangerous things out there, so why end someone"s passion because of a known danger in the sport?
