Pro

If kids don't have homework, they won't get enough practice for that particular subject. Kids won't learn as fast, and won't learn as much responsibility. Kids may think it is annoying at the time of the work assigned, but homework is preparing them for college and for careers.

You could possibly work harder and maybe you won't be stupid and if there is no homework it will encoregde them to to stuff like interact with people and do sports or play with real people

I agree with @wallapay (the contender). It's because he is right.

About your essay: Your essay cannot be opened it's because Google Drive" is requesting for permission to have access.

My opinion about the topic: It is okay to give children (specifically students) homework(s) to hone their act of being responsible.
