Are you trying to say that students should be required to to make sure they are Anerican enough? I'd like you to clarify.

As for my position, I believe that students should not be required to say the pledge of alleigance. If we truly live in a free country, students should not be required to say anything. Also, children did not choose to live in the United States, so they should not be required to pledge their alleigance to it in public school. The concept of religious freedom also cones into play because the words "under God" were added to the pledge, and students should not be required to say something against their religious beliefs. Im afraid that is all I can say until you clarify your position. My apologies.

your gonna be called on grammar and spelling. Plegde, alliegeince, should (no cap), and you just said that they shouldn't be able to. If you are con, than it's they shouldn't have to.
