Con

busy work is not fair to the students that are being taught. they are being forced to do work that they have nothing to show for. in my book it is just the teachers being lazy.

This house believes that teachers should give kids busy work. When I mean busy work I mean busy work I mean challenging work for more advanced kids and more practice for lower level kids. IF the teacher doesn't give teachers busy work then the kids will just be lying around watching television. It is a proven fact that not exercising your brain with work can result being advanced to being under the required level standards. Another reason why teachers should give kids more busy work because teachers need to know how well they're teaching and how much things a child knows so they can work on strengthening their pros and cons. Again this is why i think teachers should give kids more busy work.

Reasons for voting decision: Both forfeited post-round one so this wasn't much of a debate, but in the one round that he posted in, Con had better arguments saying that children need to be stretched to progress. S/g to Pro because although Pro did make a mistake or two, Con made more mistakes such as not capitalizing the first letter of the first word of a sentence and the absence of a comma. That may seem harsh, but in my opinion it isn't when you consider how much he actually wrote.
