There are so many successful schools under Christianity and other religions, they are successful and can enrich the learning environment while focusing on the student's individuality than the regular public school environment. There are many atheistic students that may need the same learning environment, yet many private schools are under religion.

Before I begin I would like to clarify that I am in no way against Atheism/Secularism, but, I am not an Atheist, I also would like to bring up that I am new to debate.org.

Why we don't need an Atheist private school-

a) Most public school, at least in America, teach at a unbiased and secular standpoint. Evolution, the Big Bang, and all Secular theories are, by the law, to be teached at a public school.

b) Reasons that private schools excel at inculcation and education is mostly because they don't have to tune out certain parts they believe in, creationism is taught at a private school and is only taught at a private school.

c) An Atheist private school would be reminiscently similar to a public school.

The similarities that a public school would have to an Atheist school-

a) Both a public school and an Atheist school would teach Evolution and the Big Bang.

b) Teacher have to be, by law, unbiased and secular in their teachings.

c) Both a public school and a private school don't have to spend time for prayer/other rites.

d) From my time in a public school I haven't witnessed any Atheists being punished/harassed for their beliefs, most public schools are overwhelmingly accepting.

Differences-

a) The only I could discover is that a public school is more diverse, while an Atheistic school would be Atheist only.

I hope you can find reason within this argument and I hope to enjoy this debate as much as I can.

Good luck Pro.
