should violent video games be banned ?

First con with the resolution at hand you make it seem like you are supposed to be arguing that video games should not be banned.

Second you have not offered me any proof on any of your claims.

Kids play violent video games but not all of them commit violent acts. Violent video games do not break any law and you it cannot be proven that a violent video game was the cause of the problem. Violent video games are usually rated M for mature and little kids who are not mentally mature enough should not be allowed to purchase or play it. Violent video games are a main source of revenue for many game designers, banning the video game will just tank their total revenue which in turn will lead to many game designers losing their jobs because of the lack of funds. Banning violent video games will just cause more problems for people. Kids will still do violent acts the see on T.V their violence cannot be proven to directly be linked to the violent video game.
