Con

I believe we should ban alcohol because it is good for the environment and other people
PaulSauve

Pro

So what you are saying is that we should ban it because it's good?
Debate Round No. 1

Con

Because it can be harmful to your body, and can rip family's apart!
PaulSauve

Pro

Alchohol however doesn't do that in maintained amounts. While it can do that when being overused, anything can do that. Too much food makes you fat, too much to drink makes you drown, and too many drugs makes you overdose. The problem isn't that it's alchohol, it is that people tend to get addicted to it. However there is a reason that we have limits on alchohol, and that is because of this. I do agree that it is very easy to get around this limit, however it IS up to that person who bought the alchohol.

Con

True but doing that would make all of the business and jobs dead and would put people on the streets
PaulSauve

Pro

People are not required to buy alchohol, it is up to them whether they want to buy it or not. Whether or not it puts people on streets is again their decision, not the governments.

Reasons for voting decision: I honestly am confused by the first round and therefore don't get the others. However, alcohol should not be banned as there are certain medications that require alcohol to make or rubbing alcohol to numb you before a shot or clean a wound, it shouldn't be allowed after a certain amount though

Reasons for voting decision: Pro made a reasonable argument to support his case, while Con's only argument failed to stand and didn't truly back his case. I gave Pro S&G because his argument was easy to read. Con's first 2 arguments didn't even make sense.
