I don't think children should be able to listen to music in class. It would disrupt learning as you are not concentrating on your work but just listening to music. Any good teacher or understanding adult would know that learning levels would be lower. I know however some teachers do give permission in class which is fine in that circumstances. I know what your thinking. Students may find music soothing and easier to work around but its just wrong. I mean, how are you possibly meant to take any knowledge in if you have one direction or Katy Perry songs whirring in your brain. Save the listening to music at lunch, break or the bus. They need to concentrate and study hard even if the lesson or the teacher drones and is boring. Children are at school to learn obviously.

You learn nothing from school.

You learn a lot from listening, whether it be a person, a song or yourself.
