I realized that some jobs have limited hours of working. I was thinking should we work for longer shifts for more money. My point is that the longer you work the better amount of money you get.

Con

I disagree with this resolution and I will give you several reasons.

Contention 1: Family Time

During the late 1800s and early 1900s people were wanting shorter work hours, because it destroyed childhood for children. How does it do this you may ask? Well it is a simple correlation. If you work shorter hours then you will have more time to spend with your family and it will help develope a child. Family time helps improves the child's grades, less behavior problems, and decreases the risk of drug use (http://beforeitsnews.com...)

Contention 2: Childhood Obesity

According to an NPR news story they have found a direct correlation between obesity and the number of hours the mother works. They have found the more the mother works the fatter the child will get (http://www.npr.org...) According to another study by CNN they have found by the third grade the children gain pounds when the mother workers more (http://www.cnn.com...)

So you can see here that we need to lower working hours to save the children and tomorrow's future.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct to Con for Pro's forfeit. Points to Con because seeing as Pro forfeited, Con's points were left unchallenged.
