you all watched super heroes films when you all were young, havent you?
i have
and i have tried to immitate every character in it regardless weather he is the hero or not
think a small kid watching a film and he saw a character smoking a ciggarate, wont he try to immitate it because they are kids. they dont know how corrupted is the present society.
rescent statistics show that ciggarete companies spend billions on actors. but why?
simple.....

isnt it advertising....they need the small kids to come into the ciggarettes mafia because they know they are easily addictable than a grown up man who understands the society..
every ciggarete pack cotains "please dont use it until you are 21" but its because they need to get away with the fact that they are providing harmful things to children. but their main target is children.
And the other thing is ALCOHOl.......have you ever noticed that every alcohol bottle is packed so nicely that anybody will buy it because of the outer appearance (specially kids).
so government should take neccasary actions toward these concepts to save the next young generations
Agree?????

You see, some people think that but really it is just the media. It isn't teaching a lesson or something. Plus young kids shouldn't be watching that in fact people make their own choice so the media is not persuading them.

ohh well!! you know that the modern cartoons do show these stuff. do you think that the children will resist watching cartoons...no they won't .... come on .. i am 100% sure that banning these pathetic advertisements in children movies and cartoons will do greater good to the society

I mean it would be fine..... but it really doesn't do anything. People can still get the . Info from other places. The for your time it was fun.

come on man.. kids under the age of 15 is not mature as you think...how could a small kid gather info from other places.. like when travelling...they have their parents controlling them but i hvanet seen many parents looking cartoons with their children to check weather its appropriate or not. they stay under the assumption that cartoons and kids stories are appropriate for them...
yeah i believe that they can get info from other sources too but if we ban those pathetic advertisements wont it do greater good
i respect your opinions but i still stay under the fact that "we should restrict the use of cigarettes and alcohol in media commercials and films"
Thank You

Reasons for voting decision: This was a terrible debate -- mostly because it wasn't a debate. Both sides just made assertions with no logic to back up said assertions. Neither of you deserve the win, hence my vote.
