we should When Obama was pitching Obamacare, he realized people would be concerned about losing their current insurance and paying higher prices.

If the American public believed this, Obamacare would be dead on arrival. So, he repeatedly insisted that this would NOT be the case. Here are some quotes from President Obama:

If you"re one of the more than 250 million Americans who already have health insurance, you will keep your health insurance. This law will only make it more secure and more affordable.

If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your current health insurance plan you can keep it.

If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your health care plan, you"ll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.

Now, anyone who did even a cursory reading of the Affordable Care Act knew the President was lying.

THE STORY OF THE $100 ASPIRIN AND THE REPRICING SCAM
Dr Keith Smith, MD of the Surgery Center of Oklahoma explains why hospitals charge $100 for an aspirin while his surgery center gives them away for free.

Here Dr Smith explains why insurance companies don"t ask you to shop around for cheaper medical services and actually prefer you incur as large a hospital bill as possible.

OCEAN SURGERY CENTER " PRICE TRANSPARENCY COMES TO CALIFORNIA
Until now, Californians have only had a couple options for affordable surgeries and all of them have been out-of-state. Fortunately, Ocean Surgery Center in Torrance has come to the rescue for Californians. Inspired by the work of Keith Smith, MD and his Surgery Center of Oklahoma, all of their prices are listed on the website and, just like the Surgery Center of Oklahoma, the prices are all-inclusive (facility fee, surgeon fee, anesthesiologist fee).

The surgery prices listed on the website range from a couple thousand dollars to about $10,000. From what I can tell, they are a mere fraction of what you"d have to pay at a competing, non-profit hospital.

You can read more about the center on Keith Smith"s blog here. See below for more info:

SLASH YOUR OBAMACARE BILL BY 25%
In case you don"t know, there"s a provision in Obamacare that gives you a three-month grace period should you stop paying your premium. It appears that this option is only available to those who receive an Obamacare subsidy.

This provision allows you to get three free months of coverage a year. Under normal circumstances, this would be considered theft. However, I don"t think the same rules apply to companies that conspire with governments to hand them over customers whether the individuals want to buy their service or not. I consider companies like this anomie.

I don"t recommend signing up for this socialist monstrosity but if you must, here are some pointers:

1. Make sure you"re eligible for an Obamacare subsidy.
2. See if you can pay your premiums monthly without using auto-debiting from your checking account. If you must use auto-debit, open a new checking account. This is so you can keep using your first account while the Obamacare premiums bounce in your second.
3. Pay monthly through your September premium. If you"re using auto-debit, clean out the account being debited. Otherwise, just trash your premium bills for October thru December.
4. Wait until the next year to sign up again. Rinse and repeat!

PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS: GREED OR COMMON SENSE
One of the statist battlecries of Obamacare has been that greedy insurance companies don"t want your business if you have a pre-existing condition. Or, if they want your business they"ll charge up the ying-yang.

A lot of emotion surrounds the issue but you can"t decide public policy on emotion. Imagine for a moment that you own an insurance company that limits coverage for people with pre-exising conditions or doesn"t accept those that have them.

You only cover healthcare for diseases or injuries incurred after people sign up. However, one day a woman comes along and wants to sign up. The problem is that she has a severe illness that would cost your insurance company $200,000 a year.

Are you going to let her sign up for a couple hundred a month? If you did, you would essentially be stealing from your existing policyholders. That money has to come from somewhere. And that"s where it will come from.

Insurance is not supposed to be like buying a winning lottery ticket. People sign up for insurance because no one knows in advance who will win and who will lose. If you already know you will win, it"s not insurance. It"s forced wealth redistribution from existing policyholders to you.

BAD APPLE INSURERS OR BAD APPLE PRESIDENT?
Right before Halloween, President Obama lashed out at what he called "bad apple insurers."

"One of the things health reform was designed to do was to help not only the uninsured but also the under-insured," Obama said. "And there are a number of Americans, fewer than 5 percent of Americans, who"ve got cut-rate plans that don"t offer real financial protection in the event of a serious illness or an accident.

"Remember, before the Affordable Care Act, these bad apple insurers had free rein every single year to limit the care that you received or used minor pre-existing conditions to jack up your premiums or bill you into bankruptcy."

One would surmise that Obamacare would somehow put these "bad apple insurers" out of business. Of course, no such thing happened because the statement is a blatant lie.

I believe that we should not use obamacare. The US citizens should be able to have the right to pick out the kind of health insurance that they want. They should also have the right to pick out their own doctors.

Undercover government investigators were able to obtain thousands of dollars in taxpayer subsidies under ObamaCare using fake identities, according to findings presented to Congress on Wednesday. The probe by the Government Accountability Office has raised fresh concerns about the ability of the sprawling health care program to prevent or intercept costly fraud schemes. In the case of the GAO investigation, 11 out of 12 applications submitted using "fictitious identities" were accepted, resulting in subsidized health coverage.

"For each of our 11 approved applications, we paid the required premiums to put policies into force, and are continuing to pay the premiums. For the 11 applications that were approved for coverage, we obtained the advance premium tax credit in all cases," the report said.

According to the GAO, the total amount for these credits was $2,500 monthly, adding up to $30,000 a year.

GAO officials testified about the findings before a House Ways and Means subcommittee Wednesday.

"We are seeing a trend with ObamaCare information systems: under every rock, there is incompetence, waste, and the potential for fraud," Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich., chairman of the committee, said in a statement. "This law is already hitting Americans where it hurts the most - their pocketbooks. Now, this administration is forcing the American taxpayer to foot the bill for ObamaCare's waste and fraud."

Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, added: "Ironically, the GAO has found ObamaCare is working really well -- for those who don't exist."
