Pro

smaller colleges provide a better opportunity for education because in a small college you get smaller class sizes, personal relations with professors, and more opportunities to voice your ideas

Con

A bigger university allows for students to stress less if/when they want to change their major. Universities allow for more of a college experience of sporting events and clubs for basically everyone enrolled.

Pro

Yes, larger colleges do provide more sporting teams and events geared towards everyone. However, a small college focuses more on the education a student will receive. Professors tend to pay more attention to their students and their special needs when they don't have to worry about 3,000 other students. Smaller colleges allow a closely monitored education and more chances for success.
