I think that terrorists shouldn't have the right to have a court trial for what they have done to our country.
Bdoucette

Con

Terrorist should have open trials so justice can be rightfully served for everyone to see.

The terrorist don't deserve the rights because they are not part of out country. Sure they can be citizens but as soon as they commit a terrorist attack on our country then those people become terrorist and don't have the same rights in court as citizens and should not have the same rights as citizens in court.

What if one day you're walking down the street and a terrorist walks the other way and a bomb goes boom.you could've wrongfully accused so tell me what you want numb nuts don't you want a public trial for everyone to see so they can show your innocence. If we do have open trials for people to see justice can be diminished and taken advantage of by the government.

True true. But why should we give someone that possibly could be guilty of an attack a chance to be innocent and walk. Depending on a situation. Say you have the man in your possession that commited a crime why should they be allowed to have a trial in a country that they harmed. They should not have a chance to redeem themself and be able to have parol and all that. They should not have a chance to have a trial since they have caused pain to our country.

God is the only one who can judge us but this doesn't mean we can't be fair in our courts.Another reason why these trials should be open is if the person the have in custody is guilty the public will be able to see these perpetrators punished for there crimes.

Reasons for voting decision: The contender had a much more stable thesis in the beginning, for he/she did not use the phrase "I think that." Both the instigator and the contender had many grammatical errors, but thd instigator had less. The contender's first argument was rather informal, but he/she made up for it with his last argument. Sadly, and not to be rude, but I believe this debate did not have much fomality, and it seemed like two schoolchildren arguing, not two fornal adult debaters, as it should be. Although the debar was overall informal, the instigator provided a more valid argument and was a tiny bit more formal, therefore, he gets my votes.
