student athletes put time and energy to help out the school and to learn more as an athlete and to progress, why should or would they not get compensation for all they have done

Con

Do they work hard?

Student Athletes have only experienced what it is like to be in school. They have gotten used to a school society which is usually a very stereotypical society, These students have not experienced the real world and will definitely find it hard to fit in and step into big roles as they are not used to it. They are still learning children, and should have the opportunity to take it step by step and do bigger things in life after education.
