i won a million dollars on gambling the other day, my friends went crazy and wanted to celebrate seeing all that Money on the table, but i really just felt like imagining the money was sufficient for me, so i told them i didnt want the money and went home, to my poor starving family
Heraclitus

Con

This is the worst choice that you have ever made.
It is not just stupid but selfish for as you say your family are poor and starving and this could be their best chance. You just threw this amazing chance away.
I do not even see the moral argument for this. If you gained the money justly (I do not see anything unjust about gambling) than you ought to keep if you are struggling not just for your sake but for your family's sake.
You could have rebuilt your and your family's lives but you chose to return the money! That is ridiculous.

but i have infinete money in my imagination! and my family can imagine eating food, its all good
Heraclitus

Con

Are you stupid? Your imagination won't help your family out of starvation. Your imagination cannot do what real money does and that is save both you and your family.

Reasons for voting decision: Con made personal attack on Pro's argument, but Pro made no effort to prove WHY giving up the money was HIS BEST decision ever.

Reasons for voting decision: While the premise of the debate was hard to find, by any measure pro would need to show how the choice was "better". He failed to offer anything showing "better" or "best", and instead offered where it MIGHT be worse.

Conduct = Pro Cons's ad hominem "stupid" comment.
Argument = Con Pro did not reach the BOP.
