well let me make the grounds of the debate clear---i will speak and try to prove the point the hand that rocks the cradle is the one that rules the world.the other one has to objetc to it and try to prove it wrong.........

What an important job a mother has! The mothers of the next generation are the ones who are molding the future. Motherhood is just about the greatest calling in the world. Of course, taking care of a baby may not always seem very important, but don't ever minimize it. Who knows what an impact that child may have on the lives of many others one day?

Motherhood takes the strength of Samson, the wisdom of Solomon, the patience of Job, the faith of Abraham, the insight of Daniel, and the courage and administrative ability of David. It also takes the love of God, that's for sure! What a job!

The thing that makes a mother so wonderful is her self-sacrificial spirit that is willing to sacrifice her time and strength and even her own health, if necessary, for the sake of that child. Any woman can have a baby, but it takes a real mother to learn how to "train up a child in the way he should go" . mothers r the ones who go hungry to feed their child....wake all nite to ensur their child sleeps well....it is they who do so much for the child that a child always remains indebted to them and always folow her advice over all others.in this way it is these mothers who rule the world in true sense!!!111

I would like to start this debate by mentioning that you plagiarized your opening from the following site. (If you are the one who posted it on that site, then my apologies; although, I doubt you are the one who wrote the article due to your numerous grammatical errors).
http://www.activatedministries.org...

1) For my first point, I'd like to mention that almost every civilized nation in the world is patriarchal therefore it is truly man that rules the world.

"Patriarchy is advanced as being advantageous for human devolution and social disorganization on many grounds, crossing several disciplines. Although biology may explain its existence, arguments for its social utility have been made since ancient times. The main lines of argument are either pragmatic — namely the reproductive advantages of male-as-provider — or ethical — that any perceived male authority is contingent upon underlying perceptions of duty of care."

The above statement shows that humans (and animals) are biologically made to live in patriarchal societies, and that the male has the underlying "duty of care" embedded within them.

2) Although mothers have a great influence on their child, it is a joint effort and many experts agree that fathers have a more influential impact on the child than the mother.

"Cluster analyses revealed four distinct attachment profiles for fathers as well as for mothers: two secure and two insecure. ANOVAs were used to compare these profiles. The attachment scale that is the most significant at discriminating father-child profiles - independence – was found to be the least significant at discriminating mother-child profiles (66% for fathers and 34% for mothers). The attachment scale that is the most significant at discriminating mother-child profiles - the proximity-exploration balance - has only a moderate impact in discriminating the fathers' profiles (54% for fathers and 69% for mothers).
Conclusion: Fathers are more likely to value the child's independence and seem to be more concerned with the exploration side of the proximity-exploration balance than mothers are. In agreement with several other studies (Grossmann et al., 1998, 1999, 2002; Volling & Belsky, 1992), we can hypothesize that the father-child attachment bond emerges mainly in playful contexts involving active exploration. The father-child attachment system thus seems to be closely related to the child's exploratory system."

From this we can conclude that the father-child bond is much more influential than the mother-child bond.

In conclusion I would like to point out that i've given studies that concluded the father was more influential; while my partner plagiarized from a site, giving no information other that falsified rhetoric.

Because my opponent did not respond in the alloted time and failed to respond to my rebuttal, it should be concluded that Negative (Con) wins.

We're no strangers to love,
You know the rules and so do I,
A full commitments what I'm thinking of,
You wouldn't get this from any other guy.

I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling,
Gotta make you understand..

Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down,
Never gonna run around and desert you,
Never gonna make you cry,
Never gonna say goodbye,
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.

We've known each other for so long,
Your heart's been aching, but,
You're too shy to say it,
Inside we both know whats been going on,
We know the game and we're gonna play it.

And if you ask me how I'm feeling,
Don't tell me you're too blind to see..

Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down,
Never gonna run around and desert you,
Never gonna make you cry,
Never gonna say goodbye,
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.

Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down,
Never gonna run around and desert you,
Never gonna make you cry,
Never gonna say goodbye,
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.

(Give you up, Give you up)
Never gonna give, Never gonna give,
(Give you up)
Never gonna give, Never gonna give
(Give you up)

We've known each other for so long,
Your heart's been aching, but,
You're too shy to say it,
Inside we both know whats been going on,
We know the game and we're gonna play it.

I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling,

Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down,
Never gonna run around and desert you,
Never gonna make you cry,
Never gonna say goodbye,
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.

In conclusion, Affirmative has conceded it's stance, thus Con wins. I'd like to keep in mind that Affirmative has taken the basis of its case from a uncited site; thus Affirmative is a plagiarist.
