Pro

that islamic belief in getting a bunch of virgins upon death shows it is a false religion

that is pandering to human desire. in the here and now, it would be wrong to have a bunch of virgins and have sex and such with all of them. so suddenly the afterlife makes it okay? it's like rewarding indulgence etc. it shows the religion is based on sand.

Con

lt does not prove its a false religion, rather Islam is a punishment from god for the wrong doing's of the white man!Becareful with this punishment it might even xtint u!

con says i don't prove islam to be false, but rather he says islam isn't false, but the religion, he rants, is a punishment from God.

Read the bible! What happened to Sodom and Gomorrah, when god was fed up with sins in that land he destroyed the entire land.Lets look at the USA for example, the sexual immorality in that country might measure up to Sodom and Gomorrah!l'm talking about porn, group sex etc.Remember God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Just thought l should let you know!

Really , but during the Victorian Era and even before that , most western people thought Muslims had an overdose of sex . Edward Said was right . Muslims would always be the Other to the Western World

Muslim communities globally suffer from sexual frustration as any talk about sex is taboo!

You must be a real sicko if you believe people lay around heaven having sex with virgins... Does heaven have an unlimited supply ?

These guys that are suicide bombers, it would be fitting if there were waiting for them 70 male virgins.

@ Con R.1 The trouble with predestination is the difficulty in applying Christ's forgiveness of sins to someone faced with that much gov't proscription. If it were possible for a Muslim to reject their gov't peacefully and begin a cult within the borders of an Islamic state, that person would be considered an 'anathema' (to quote the Council of Trent) and at the least quarantined to prevent the word spreading that such a thing is possible

Reasons for voting decision: Pro's argument was very, very weak. I'm not even sure if it prima facie stands, though there was never a real chance to expand upon it, given that Con appears to actually *agree* with Pro, and his incoherent case never touches the resolution, or Pro's case. At the very least, though, conduct is a clear point for the forfeit from Con.
