The past isn't here. It used to be which sounds obvious about it being non existent currently yet the past is constantly referred to as something that is included as part of a wider cosmology, disregarding the present being all there is, the future becoming the present. Why is the past counted in things like research testing with repeat calculations?

records dont exist?

time is now, future is ahead of now

me not being able to argue with all that i read, on my home made calender, as today now, is fun.
Debate Round No. 1

I'm still saying it existED.

Just that it's not, you know, THERE.

Everybody knows this so I've won. Who can challenge that.

records is of what existed.. records exist to prove that
Debate Round No. 2

Jglass...all time is motion is a false premise.
Stopping all kinetic energy in the universe you would stop time, confusing cause and effect fallacy.

time would just be stopped now in the case

All time is motion. If you stopped all kinetic energy in the universe, essentially, you would stop time. Therefore, past, present, and future, have no definite meaning. Yet, that is no reason to not consider the past. The past is relevant to the outcome of the future, simply because of momentum. Past events begin current events, and current events influence future events. So, there is no reason to disregard past results.

research testing- past calculations will be present calculations if you repeat the same procedure. If you didn't know about the past records, you would keep on doing the experiment infinitely, for it is the past.

Why is it counted?

What's you point?

What are you debating about?

That past has no play in the coming future?
