to accept god is true, is to deny god, as the opposite is also a possibility
Debate Rounds (3)
When you bet on "heads", it does not mean you are also betting on "tails".
Both are possibilities, but they cannot exist simultaneously in actuality.
Consider this - there is a chance you may win but I believe you already lost this debate.
A coin has 2 sides but I believe there is only one result.
If it helps in your analysis, consider this - winning this debate means someone else is going to lose.
Take your motion, and replace "god" with "I won the debate" or "I won the lottery".
That should enlighten you, like a lot.
Take "god" and replace it with whatever you've just said.
If you believe I lost, then by defending the motion, you should also deny that "I lost" because you believe all possibilities are realized no matter how contradictory.
A possibility X can only be equal to itself.
If X exists, then its contradiction (anti-X) cannot exist.
Possibilities are realized only if they are not contradictions.
If a ball is a sphere, it obviously can't be a cube.
